🦆 Duck – A Little Quest for Love
Here’s the setup: you’re a tiny duck. No lasers, no magical powers, no fancy gear—just a duck on a mission. Your girlfriend’s gone missing, and the only way to get her back is to run, jump, and puzzle your way through a bunch of colorful, blocky levels.
Every stage keeps it simple. There’s a door at the end. It’s locked. Somewhere in the level, there’s a golden key. Sounds easy, right? But the keys aren’t always sitting out in the open. Sometimes they’re tucked away in spots that make you stop and ask yourself, “Okay… how do I even get up there?” And yeah—you’re going to miss jumps. Probably more than once. But instead of giving up, you’ll find yourself restarting, determined to get it right.
The visuals lean into that retro charm—big chunky blocks, grass-topped platforms, bright colors. It feels like something straight out of the old-school days, but polished enough to feel fresh. A throwback, but not outdated.
What makes it click is the simplicity. No long cutscenes, no filler quests. Just: grab the key, unlock the door, move to the next challenge. And even though the story is tiny—a duck chasing after his girlfriend—it adds just enough heart to make beating the levels feel worthwhile.
Duck isn’t trying to be some massive adventure. It’s short, it’s simple, and just tricky enough to make you mutter at your screen while still grinning when you finally clear a level. One of those games you finish and think, “That was nice,” before hitting restart for another go.
